Do I need to quit smoking right away?
No. For the first 60 days, you keep smoking — but you learn to understand your behaviour and structurally prepare for the step. That's the core of the approach: preparation, not cold turkey.
How long does the program last?
The core program runs for 90 days. Days 1–60 prepare you, day 60 is the day of your last cigarette, days 61–90 stabilise the change. After that, you can optionally continue.
What happens if I relapse after day 60?
You use the emergency chat, reflect on the situation, and continue your program. Relapses are part of the path, not failure.
Am I talking to a real person or an AI?
You're chatting with an AI coach trained specifically on the 90-day program. It knows every lesson, responds to your answers, and walks with you on your path. No human on the other end — but no generic chatbot either.
Does Quitora replace a doctor or therapy?
No. Quitora is a digital companion program for behaviour change, not medical therapy. If you experience physical withdrawal symptoms or significant psychological strain, speak with your doctor or a qualified addiction counsellor.
